Alternator Replacement 2004 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T B5.5 1998-2005

The fires drove us down to Monterrey for a few days. They should build their houses out of stone and then just let it burn naturally while on a vacation nomadic.

Stopped by Greg Bateson’s Esalen Institute. I will apply for there open positions. The guard answered all our questions very nice guy. Gave us a catalog. Didn’t mention weaponized anthropologist history.. Beautiful place there….

We couldn’t tour that day but we could volunteer at there gardens.

Uber delivery

While Ubering down there my alternator went out. First a light on the dash said alternator workshop. Then the battery dash light lit up. Then the ABS light followed by the radio shutting down then the car stopped. AAA towed us to a hotel.

Here is a video that helped.

The tow hook placement is behind the plastic panel in front bumper.

90 amp alternator from AutoZone

Plus bought the tools needed there too.

17 and 13 mm wrench

6 and 7 and 8 mm hex head Allen wrenches

Small Allen wrench to hold fan clutch still while loosening bolt

10 mm and 13 mm socket and ratchet

EPC continued
